Customer Responsibility:
Prepping – please be sure to remove any personal items, electronics, and anything that could be stained from the areas that are being cleaned with cleaning agents. Please close and lock your windows. We recommend you put towels up against the bottoms of your doors. Please be sure to remove any electronics from areas that are being cleaned and to tape up wires and cover outlets.
Is power washing better than soft washing?
Soft washing is a great way to clean your house, especially if you have vinyl siding or stucco. It uses our patent cleaners and low-pressure water that won't damage your home or roof.
Water usage:
Florida Power Washing comes with the first 300-500 gallons of water. If there is no water source, please advise us and we will make arrangements to bring water at an additional charge.
electrical usage
Customer consents for FLORIDA POWER WASHING to use an on-site source of electricity as needed/if needed to complete the stated project without compensation. It is very uncommon that we need to use electricity.
color and tone concerns:
The properties and species of wood age and weather can significantly affect the resulting color or tone of the stain. Note: Variances may occur on individual boards, as well as the total project, as densities and other characteristics vary across and throughout the wood. FLORIDA POWER WASHING will attempt to represent the final finish color and tones as best as possible. While we can often give you an idea of the overall color or tone, you must expect some variance in the overall finish.

Courtesy and Safety while Inside Out Cleaning Services of Volusia County, LLC/Florida Power Washing is on location and performing work on your property is extremely important to both parties. You are responsible for keeping all children and pets inside while work is being performed, as well as other individuals, including all residential homeowners and/or tenants away from the work area to prevent us from having down time and avoiding a dangerous work environment. We strongly recommend that children and pets be kept off work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed. This is for your safety as well as ours. This also insures the best outcome
payments:
Payments are due upon completion of work. All balances are ALWAYS due upon completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing in our contract. Late charges will be immediately assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. The customer agrees to pay any collection cost related to the collection process of outstanding balances. There will be a late fee of $75.00 and a fee of 1.5% thereafter, plus collection cost, should FLORIDA POWER WASHING decide to put your account into collections.
INSPECTION
Customer is expected to inspect their property upon completion of job. Should they notice any problems, it must be reported immediately. Any stopped checked (fixed checked to check) and continue are subject to a fee of up to 5% of the amount of the check. The customer will then be subject to Repay the balance, All court fees for both parties, all legal fees, any mediation fees, Fines, and Florida statute Customer could face charges for a misdemeanour or felony.
scheduling:
Scheduling in a business which productivity relies upon the weather and can sometimes be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes. FPW is not responsible for delays and reschedules due to Mother Nature.
Removal & Replacement of Deck Contents (AND PERSONAL ITEMS):
Removing & Replacement of Personal Items is the responsibility of the homeowner. Please be sure to clear all personal items BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL!!! i.e. grills, deck furniture, planters, CARS FROM DRIVEWAYS, rugs, flags, pictures, breakables, electronics (if we are cleaning your pool lanai), etc and any other items that you do not want getting wet or damaged from chlorine type agents. Should we need to remove items from the deck, pool lanai, porch, etc we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for time and labor devoted for the removal of these items or for our down time upon waiting for you to remove these items upon our arrival when we get there and/or us having to reschedule your appointment for not being prepared for us. FPW is not responsible for any damage done should we have to remove and or replace the furniture for we do not know the condition of which it is in prior. Please be prepared. If you are having your pool lanai cleaned, please be sure to have your filter running during and after the cleaning. We are not responsible for debris in your pool.
damage:
FLORIDA POWER WASHING is not responsible for damages due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles or siding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows/doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters and leaders, improper caulking or rips in screens. In every aluminum siding case and some cases with vinyl siding, the sun and weather will bleach the color or cause fading. Power/Soft washing, which entails removing chalky, gritty, or failing surface materials, may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl or aluminum to stand out. FLORIDA POWER WASHING will not be responsible for such conditions. FLORIDA POWER WASHING will not be responsible for loose mortar that may dislodge during the cleaning process.
stains:
Some stains cannot be removed by power washing/soft washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus, rust, oil, splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when quoting the project. However, we will try our best to do so. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all. All Power Washing Companies in the Industry have access to chemicals to help remove these stains. We use the best products and chemicals for our clients, should they choose. Some stains may repair especially on driveways and pavers days later or over time (especially oils). The sooner those stains are removed, the better.
other:
FLORIDA POWER WASHING expects your property to be in good repair and weathertight. This includes but is not limited to all electrical services, including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall also be weathertight.
FLORIDA POWER WASHING is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor or improper installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical-related items or doors or windows. FLORIDA POWER WASHING cannot guarantee the removal of artillery fungus from exterior house surfaces.
Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. Window cleaning is NOT included. Window cleaning is offered at an additional cost.
Billing invoices will be sent monthly, and payment will be due within 15 days of receipt. Any payments paid thereafter are considered late and will be charged a late fee of $75 and 1.5% each day thereafter.. Should a customer stop a payment, a charge of $25-$30 will be charged and they could be punishable by State Law with a Misdemeanour or felony charge. Should you have a conflict, please reach out to us to work around this.
